‘Melts in your mouth, not in your hand’ – There’s nothing like M&M’s! Whether you make a bee line for the red or blue, these single colour M&M’s make it easy for you to get your favourite colour and your favourite colour only. The idea for this  colourful candy coated chocolate came about in the 1930s during the Spanish Civil War when the inventor, Forest Mars Sr., saw soldiers eating chocolate pellets with a hard shell of tempered chocolate surrounding the inside, preventing the candies from melting. In 1941, Mars received a patent for his own process, starting off by coating up to 1,500 kg of chocolate centres every hour!

M&M’s were the official candy of the US space programme making them the first candy in orbit and in 1998 M&M’s were also named the official candy of the Millennium. One of our favourite colours here at Candy Bar Sydney is the aqua, tying in perfectly with Tiffany & Co. theme candy buffets. However whether your theme is gold and bold or a crisp white, Candy Bar Sydney has all the colours to make your lolly buffet table pop! The M&M’s character ‘Red’ describes himself as “smart, savvy and if I was any sharper it’d be illegal to carry me in a concealed place” – Take this confidence to your candy buffet table and let the M&M’s do the talking!
